Loved This Historic Inn!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

The Eliza Thompson House is a beautifully restored Historic Inn. The accommodations were lovely and the staff was amazing! An amazing breakfast was served each day. Wine and hors d'oeuvres were served daily at 5:30 and dessert at 8:30. All we're amazing! The beautiful courtyard was the perfect place to relax after a busy day of sightseeing!

Wonderful 3 night stay

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

Had a wonderful 3 night stay at the Inn! Would stay there again for sure! Right in the heart of the historic district and was so charming! Bed and linens were super comfy! Upon arrival, we were early and went to drop our bags off- it was raining pretty hard out and all of the umbrellas were in use - the woman at the concierge desk was Coral - she offered us her own umbrella to use - was such a nice way to start off our stay!! Also the chef prepared breakfast each morning in the courtyard were phenomenal!! Best biscuits and grits ever!! Truly a lovely place, hope to visit again!

Welcoming Spirits!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

We didn’t see any ghosts, but we did encounter some welcoming spirits like Tess, Deangelis, Sheryl, and Chef Mike. We chose your Inn for our first ever visit to Savannah for its convenient location in the heart of the historic districts and because it’s along Savannah’s most picturesque street. We easily walked to the Mercer Williams House (primary filming location of the movie “Midnight in the Garden of Good & Evil”, to the famous Forsyth Square white fountain, to the most beautiful St. John the Baptist Basilica, as well as Chippewa Square where Forrest Gump sat on the park bench. Your customer service throughout our stay was simply exceptional. Our first floor guest room was quite comfortable, and we appreciated having an extra key to come and go through the sidewalk gate. We enjoyed ordering our breakfast the evening before so that it was ready at our reserved seating time in your quaint garden. Thank you for such a warm and relaxing stay in your popular historic Inn!

Perfect Quaint Place to Stay

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

This is THE perfect quaint little place to stay at if you’re looking for a historic experience. The garden on the property is so beautiful. It’s located at Jones st. which is one of the most beautiful streets in Savannah. Close to good restaurants and parks. About 17 minutes walk to the river/downtown area.

The property is well maintained and clean. The breakfast and the evening snacks were very delicious, thanks to chef Mike and the team. All the staff members were so welcoming and helpful. Thanks to Tess, Sherryl, Koral and Chef Mike and the cleaning crew that made our trip so memorable.

Beautiful part of Savannah

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

Everyone was really friendly and stopped to chat with us. It's right in the most beautiful part of Savannah, with antiques in all the rooms. Just lovely.
